报告内容简介: Water networks face growing challenges such as aging infrastructure, limited sensor coverage, and the need for timely detection of leaks and bursts. Existing monitoring methods are often constrained by high costs, incomplete data, or limited scalability across diverse operating environments. This research project develops an intelligent data-driven framework capable of learning from real operational patterns and adapting to changing conditions. By combining multiple sources of sensor information and incorporating adaptive decision mechanisms, the system can identify abnormal events more accurately and quickly, even under resource-constrained settings. The research contributes to the broader vision of building sustainable in the face of future environmental and operational challenges. 报告人简介: Dr. Kan Yu is the Victoria Regional Coordination Leader of the Cisco-La Trobe Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Center. He worked at Huawei Beijing Research Institute in 2006 and Huawei Australia's Sydney branch in 2016 respectively. From 2010 to 2015, he served as a researcher at the Global Research and Development Center of ABB, a Swedish company ranked among the Fortune Global 500. He is not only a guest editor of top academic journals such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, but also has organized and presided over several international academic conferences. He has won the research fund award from the Hans W?rthen Foundation of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), and has received research funds from the Ericsson Research Foundation in Sweden several times. |
